Rancangan Sistem Informasi Forecasting Kebutuhan Bahan Pangan Berbasis Moving Average pada SPPG Tiram

Abstract

Food ingredient demand planning inaccuracies due to manual management at the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit of Tiram, Tukak Sadai District, South Bangka Regency, posed significant risks of distribution inefficiency and budget waste within the Free Nutritious Meal program. This study aimed to design a web-based forecasting information system integrating the Moving Average algorithm as a historical consumption data-driven demand prediction mechanism. System design was conducted through requirements analysis, functional modeling using use case diagrams, process modeling using activity diagrams, data modeling using Entity Relationship Diagrams, and user interface design stages. The study produced an information system design comprising food ingredient data management, daily consumption recording, moving average-based prediction computation, and structured periodic reporting modules. The novelty of this study lies in the specific contextualization of the Moving Average algorithm within the operational ecosystem of the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit as a national nutrition program implementation unit that has never been previously investigated.

Abstrak

Ketidakakuratan perencanaan kebutuhan bahan pangan akibat pengelolaan manual pada Satuan Pelayanan Pemenuhan Gizi Tiram Kecamatan Tukak Sadai Kabupaten Bangka Selatan berpotensi menimbulkan inefisiensi distribusi dan pemborosan anggaran program Makan Bergizi Gratis. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sistem informasi forecasting berbasis web yang mengintegrasikan algoritma Moving Average sebagai mekanisme prediksi kebutuhan bahan pangan berbasis akumulasi data historis konsumsi. Perancangan sistem dilakukan melalui tahapan analisis kebutuhan, pemodelan fungsional sistem menggunakan use case diagram, pemodelan proses menggunakan activity diagram, pemodelan data menggunakan Entity Relationship Diagram, serta perancangan antarmuka pengguna. Hasil penelitian berupa rancangan sistem informasi yang memuat modul pengelolaan data bahan pangan, pencatatan konsumsi harian, komputasi prediksi berbasis rata-rata bergerak, dan pelaporan periodik terstruktur. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada kontekstualisasi algoritma Moving Average secara spesifik dalam ekosistem operasional Satuan Pelayanan Pemenuhan Gizi sebagai unit pelaksana program gizi nasional yang belum pernah dikaji sebelumnya.
