Pengembangan Aplikasi Permainan Edukasi Hewan Berbasis Augmented Reality Untuk Anak-Anak

Abstract

The use of Augmented Reality (AR) technology in children's education offers a more interactive and engaging learning method. This study aims to develop an AR application to enhance children's understanding and engagement in learning. The development method used is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC), with design stages including storyboard creation, UML system modeling (use case diagram and activity diagram), and a low-fidelity user interface prototype. Testing was conducted using blackbox testing to ensure the application's functionality. The test results indicate that the application operates as designed and meets functional requirements, making it a viable innovative learning tool for children.

Abstrak

Penggunaan teknologi Augmented Reality (AR) dalam pendidikan anak-anak menawarkan metode pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan menarik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi AR guna meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterlibatan anak-anak dalam belajar. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan adalah Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC), dengan tahapan perancangan mencakup storyboard, model sistem UML (Use Case Diagram dan Activity Diagram), serta prototipe low fidelity user interface. Pengujian dilakukan menggunakan Blackbox Testing untuk memastikan fungsionalitas aplikasi. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi berfungsi sesuai rancangan dan memenuhi aspek fungsionalitas, sehingga layak digunakan sebagai sarana pembelajaran inovatif bagi anak-anak.
