Rancang Bangun Sistem Informasi Berbasis Web pada Perusahaan Penjualan Furniture Usaha Kecil dan Menengah
Abstract
Abstrak. Terbatasnya jangkauan pemasaran sebagai akibat dari sistem yang masih manual, menyebabkan sistem penjualan pada perusahaan DIC Modern, sebuah Usaha Kecil dan Menengah (UKM) yang menekuni usaha di bidang pembuatan dan penjualan barang furniture, menjadi tidak efektif dan tidak efisien, terutama yang berkaitan dengan biaya pemasaran. Artikel ini menyajikan sebuah model sistem penjualan furniture berbasis Website untuk mempermudah manajemen perusahaan melakukan penjualan produk secara online. Metode pengembangan sistem menggunakan prototyping model, dengan melibatkan pengguna sistem dalam segala aspek perancangan mulai dari tahap awal hingga tahap akhir. Sistem dibangun merujuk pada proses bisnis perusahaan, terutama pada proses transaksi dan metode pembayaran. Bentuk informasi dari setiap transaksi berupa invoice pemesanan yang dilakukan oleh pelanggan, baik transaksi pembayaran tunai maupun secara kredit. Hasil uji fungsional sistem menunjukkan sistem yang dibangun telah sesuai dengan kebutuhan bisnis penjualan secara online.

Abstract. The limited reach of marketing as a result of the manual system has caused the sales system of “DIC Modern”, a Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) companies that is engaged in the manufacture and sale of furniture, to be ineffective and inefficient, especially with regard to costs. marketing. This article presents a website-based furniture sales system model to make it easier for company management to sell products online. The system development method uses a prototyping model, involving system users in all aspects of design from the initial stage to the final stage. The system was built referring to the company's business processes, especially in transaction processing and payment methods. The form of information from each transaction is in the form of an order invoice made by the customer, both cash and credit payment transactions. The results of the functional test of the system show that the system built is in accordance with the needs of the online sales business.
