SHOWER AIR OTOMATIS MENGGUNAKAN ATMEGA128 BERBASIS SENSOR INFRAMERAH PROXIMITY

Abstract

ABSTRAK Kebutuhan berupa air bersih yang semakin sulit dan tarif dasar PDAM yang semakin tinggi mengharuskan kita untuk lebih hemat dan efisien dalam penggunaannya. Sering dijumpai kran atau shower air yang meskipun sudah ditutup namun tetap saja air menetes. Kran atau shower air mudah rusak karena sering diputar atau digerakkan manual dalam penggunaannya. Kran atau shower yang rusak perlu penggantian secara berkala dan kelalaian menutup kran akan berakibat pemborosan pemakaian air. Shower air otomatis dapat membantu mengatasi permasalahan yaitu sering timbul dalam shower air konvensional biasanya terdapat pada tuas kran shower air yang terkadang tidak tertutup rapat. Sistem shower otomatis menggunakan sensor Inframerah Proximity dan Solenoid Valve yang dikendalikan oleh Mikrokontroler ATMega128 yang dilengkapi dengan program Bootloader sehingga tidak membutuhkan Device Programmer. Shower air akan mendeteksi objek melalui sensor inframerah. Berdasarkan tabel pengujian alat pada penelitian menemukan bahwa didapati sensor efektif membaca objek mulai pada jarak 70 cm.

ABSTRACT The need for clean water is increasingly difficult and the basic tariff of the increasingly high PDAM requires us to be more efficient and efficient in its use. Often encountered faucets or water showers that even though they are closed but still water drips. Faucet or shower water is easily damaged because it is often rotated or manually driven in its use. Damaged faucets or showers will need periodic replacement and negligence to close the faucet will result in wasteful use of water. Automatic water showers can help overcome the problems that often arise in conventional water showers usually found in water faucet levers that are sometimes not sealed. The automatic shower system uses Infrared Proximity sensor and Solenoid Valve controlled by Microcontroller ATMega128 equipped with Bootloader program so it does not require Device Programmer. The water shower will detect the object through the infrared sensor. Based on the test table tool in the study found that found effective sensors read the object began at a distance of 70 cm.
