Evaluasi Kualitas Sistem Tracer Study INSTIKI Menggunakan Blackbox Testing

Abstract

This study evaluates the quality of the Tracer Study system at INSTIKI using Blackbox Testing with a Use Case Testing, Equivalence Partitioning, and Boundary Value Analysis approach. The testing aimed to assess the system's performance and functionality based on 52 different user scenarios and input boundaries. Out of the total 52 use cases tested, 36% showed unsatisfactory results, with a success rate of 68%. This testing successfully identified defects in several system functions, particularly in handling invalid inputs. These findings significantly contribute to improving the quality of the Tracer Study software at INSTIKI. In conclusion, the testing conducted indicates that the system requires further improvements to meet the expected quality standards.

Abstrak

Penelitian ini mengevaluasi kualitas sistem Tracer Study di INSTIKI menggunakan metode Blackbox Testing dengan pendekatan Use Case Testing, Equivalence Partitioning, dan Boundary Value Analysis. Pengujian dilakukan untuk menilai kinerja dan fungsionalitas sistem berdasarkan 52 skenario pengguna yang berbeda serta batasan input. Dari total 52 use case yang diuji, 36% menunjukkan hasil yang tidak sesuai, dengan persentase keberhasilan mencapai 68%. Pengujian ini berhasil mengidentifikasi cacat pada beberapa fungsi sistem, terutama dalam penanganan input yang tidak valid. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap perbaikan kualitas perangkat lunak Tracer Study INSTIKI. Kesimpulannya, pengujian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa sistem perlu dilakukan perbaikan lanjutan agar dapat memenuhi standar kualitas yang diharapkan.
