PUSAT INFORMASI PANDUAN PARIWISATA DI KALIMANTAN TENGAH MENGGUNAKAN METODE RAPID APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT (RAD

Abstract

Abstrak Teknologi informasi saat ini berkembang sangat pesat dan sangat dibutuhkan untuk penyebaran informasi tanpa batasan ruang dan waktu. Dengan kemajuan teknologi informasi juga berdampak pada kegiatan perekonomian yang merupakan sumber pendapatan bagi setiap daerah bahkan setiap negara, begitu pula di Indonesia. Kalimantan Tengah adalah salah provinsi di Indonesia yang memiliki objek wisata yang khas. Setiap daerah di Kalimantan Tengah memiliki beraneka macam objek wisata seperti tempat wisata, seni, budaya, kuliner, serta kerajinan tangan ciri yang menjadi khas daerahnya. Perlu adanya teknologi mobile yang dapat digunakan untuk penyebaran informasi objek wisata di Kalimantan Tengah. Dalam penelitian ini membahas merancang dan mengimplementasikan Pusat Informasi Panduan Pariwisata di Kalimantan Tengah menggunakan metode Rapid Application Development (RAD) dengan berbagai tahapan yang dilakukan yaitu Scope Definition, Analysis, Design, Construction dan Testing. Manfaat dari penelitian ini yaitu menjadi pusat panduan bagi masyarakat lokal dan wisatawan dalam mengenal objek wisata di Kalimantan Tengah dan membantu pemerintah daerah dalam mempromosikan objek wisata Kalimantan Tengah. Abstract Information technology is currently growing very rapidly and much needed for the dissemination of information without the limitations of time and space. With the advancement of information technology is also impacting on the economy which is a source of income foreach region even from country to country, as well as in Indonesia. Central Kalimantan is one of the provinces in Indonesia which has the typical tourist attractions. Each area in Central Kalimantan has a wide range of tourist attractions such as tourist attractions, art, culture, food, and crafts which became distinctive regions. Need for mobile technology that can be used for the dissemination of information on tourism in Central Kalimantan. In this study discusses design and implement Tourism Guide information center in Central Kalimantan method using Rapid Application Development (RAD) with various stages being performed i.e. Scope Definition, Analysis, Design, Constructionand Testing. The benefits of this research that is becoming the Center Guide for local people and tourists in the know attractions in Central Kalimantan and helping local governments in promoting the attractions of Central Kalimantan.
