KOMBINASI SENSOR ULTRASONIK DAN INFRAMERAH KONSEP DETEKSI HALANGAN PADA ROBOT BERKAKI
Abstract
ABSTRACT Indonesia Robot Contest is held once a year by the Directorate General of Higher Education. The purpose of the contest is to improve the creativity and ability of students in applying science and technology, especially in the field of robotics. In this robot legged Kontes Robot Pemadam Api Indonesia (KRPAI) division, robots are required to be able to overrun the arena in the field that simulates the house, overcoming obstacles or accessories, tracing the room so as to find the fire point and extinguish it. In this research, the application of a combination of ultrasonic and infrared sensors on the legged robot to avoid obstacles in the arena match shown in the application of Indonesia Fire Fighting Robot Contest (IFFRC). Ased on the design, testing, and analysis that has been done, it can be concluded things that are from the test results of ultrasonic and infrared sensors, it is found that ultrasonic sensors are unable to read the distance to objects made from very soft, infrared sensors in reading objects Affected by any incoming light, regardless of light or light, and with a combination of ultrasonic and infrared sensors the robot can avoid any obstacles.
