Perancangan Dashboard Monitoring Untuk Monthly Report Pemesanan Hotel dengan Microsoft Power BI
Abstract
PT. X, an online-based tour & travel company, faces difficulties in effectively monitoring hotel booking data, which impacts slow and inaccurate decision-making. This study aims to design a monitoring dashboard to simplify the tracking of booking and transaction data, as well as to support faster and more accurate decision-making. The dashboard development method used is the prototyping method, which allows user feedback during the development process. The ETL process is carried out with SQL Server Management Studio, while data visualization is done using Microsoft Power BI. The testing method is performed through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to evaluate user satisfaction. System evaluation shows that this dashboard effectively improves operational efficiency, speeds up responses to market trends, and facilitates management in making faster and more accurate decisions.

Abstrak
PT. X, perusahaan tour & travel berbasis online, menghadapi kesulitan dalam memantau data pemesanan hotel secara efektif, yang berdampak pada pengambilan keputusan yang lambat dan tidak akurat. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dashboard monitoring untuk mempermudah pemantauan data pemesanan dan transaksi, serta mendukung pengambilan keputusan yang lebih cepat dan tepat. Metode pengembangan dashboard yang digunakan adalah metode prototyping, memungkinkan umpan balik pengguna selama proses pengembangan. Proses ETL dilakukan dengan SQL Server Management Studio, sementara visualisasi data menggunakan Microsoft Power BI. Metode pengujian dilakukan melalui pengujian User Acceptance Testing (UAT) untuk mengevaluasi kepuasan pengguna. Evaluasi sistem menunjukkan bahwa dashboard ini efektif meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, mempercepat respons terhadap tren pasar, dan mempermudah manajemen dalam pengambilan keputusan yang lebih cepat dan akurat.
